Ambrosius fair trade decorative figures are handmade from environmentally friendly wool felt, recycled paper and wire. Non-toxic textile paint is been used to add delicate facial features.

Ambrosius felted dolls are ethically made in Romania by skilled artisans, typically older women and young mothers working from home to support their families and people with disabilities. Profits from the sale of Ambrosius figures also help to fund a Waldorf school in Cluj-Napoca and education for disadvantaged children in rural Transylvania too.
